New car seat

So, be bought a new car seat for Tatum recently, since he is on the way to outgrowing his current setup.  We wanted to get him a Britax, but found them to be quite expensive. 

Looking on Craig's List, we found that Britax seats apparently hold their value better than the U.S. dollar.  So, we ventured online and figured out how to get the best deal possible.

Adam's Gymnastic Day

This past weekend, we surprised Adam when we showed up for his gymnastics day. He was glad to see us.  He worked with all of the apparatus...rings, pommel horse, high bar, tumbling, etc. He had a great time. Here he is, along with his step sister Madison.

Out for a Walk

Tatum prepared for his afternoon walk this weekend. He was wearing his new green outfit as well as the hat Mom and Dad sent over.  I had a hat just like it when I was his age. Awww.  Cher!

Beansie sent over a package of goodies for Adam and Tatum recently.  I am amazed with what Mom can make.  Here are a few photos of Tatum in his green outfit.  He loves it!!!!

Adam's Jewelry Shop

At school recently,the whole Kindergarten class at Adam's school learned about wholesale / retail as well as saving and other fiscal matters.  To example this, every child made a small business selling a specific item. Adam's item was colored necklaces.  He sold out of product very quickly.    I thought the whole thing was a great experience!  I think Tatum and Kristi liked it too. :)

Formula Update

To give an update on Tatum's formula saga, we finally (hopefully) have found one that we think will work for him called Gerber Good Start.  First, he was on the Target brand called Up and Up, he had terrible gas and spit up issues from this.  We spoke to the Dr and she suggested going to a soy formula and gave us some samples.  Within two feedings, we realized that soy is not a joy for Tatum.  So, we went back to the Dr and got a sample of Enfamil Gentlease.  He liked this one better, but he still had GI issues with it.  Finally, we tried Good Start and he seems to be doing better on it.  Today, I think, will be day 3 on this formula and things are starting to even out a bit.

I think Tatum is taking after his Mom quite a bit, as he can eat quite a bit! The boy can go through some formula. :)

Speaking of formula, I think we will be transitioning from the Target brand Up and Up to another brand...perhaps the Costco formula that I have heard many good things about or Good Start, which is also well regarded.
